The last day of the year is upon us.  For some reason Super Bowl Sunday is coming back to me.  It seems like it just happened.  It was the beginning of a year I hope to never experience again.  So… in reflecting back on this past year the ultimate gift for me is what I have learned; about myself, about life, about other people.  Do you know how to learn from life experiences?  Any learning process we go through only gets tougher before it gets better. That is what makes learning a gift.  I know that first hand, and so do many of you, who have weathered those tough days where you didn’t know if you could get through it.

this morning, I woke up with a smile and asked myself what my dream was for 2012.  I have a lot of things I want to accomplish.  My book will be published, not I hope, but will. (positive thinking here:)) I want to continue to help others live a fulfilling life.  But most of all, I want to be with people I love and who love me.

The ULTIMATE GIFT is allowing yourself to learn who you are from the many seasons you go through in life and the people that surround you.

Allow yourself the gift of standing on your own because you know who you are.  Don’t let anyone else define you.  Be happy with you!
